I don't like that this product is advertised as a USB-C to HDMI 2.1 adapter. HDMI 2.1 has a bitrate of 48Gbps, Thunderbolt 3 has a bitrate of 40Gbps, so immediately this product cannot transmit a full video only through the Thunderbolt 3 port and is a bottleneck. In fact, it's better to just use a USB-C to HDMI 2.0 adapter because it can still pass 4K60 and can do it over USB 3.2, not just Thunderbolt 3. If you have a gaming laptop, might this make sense You need to use the USB-C port for video but in this case it would be better to use Displayport especially if you have Displayport alt mode as you could then use two Displayport cables to Going 64Gbps instead of USB-C to an HDMI 2.1 adapter can only go up to 40Gbps, not 48Gbps as advertised.
