Long term durability. not sure

Used these hinges for a 48”w x 72”tall fence gate (approx 100lbs) and in securing the hinges to the wood I could start to see the metal deform over the length of the strap portion as if it was not hardened. They are holding currently but I have concerns about longevity due to the soft metal. Not quite sure heavy duty is accurate.

Pros

These worked great for my 44 inch redwood gate would buy again

Cons

The hinges may not be worth the investment for those who only need to use them for a short period of time
