Long term durability. not sure
Used these hinges for a 48”w x 72”tall fence gate (approx 100lbs) and in securing the hinges to the wood I could start to see the metal deform over the length of the strap portion as if it was not hardened. They are holding currently but I have concerns about longevity due to the soft metal. Not quite sure heavy duty is accurate.
- These worked great for my 44 inch redwood gate would buy again
- The hinges may not be worth the investment for those who only need to use them for a short period of time
