Review on 🐟 Seachem Prime: Powerful Chemical Remover and Detoxifier for Fresh and Saltwater Aquariums by Tyra Simpson

Honestly I'm not at all sure where we would be today if I hadn't stumbled across this product. We set up our aquarium the last week of July and since the beginning of August we have been living a nightmare trying desperately to keep our fish alive and to combat the high levels of AMMONIA in our tank. Little did we know that the tank needed to be "cycled" before adding fish, and we paid for it. We looked online and only got more confused. We reached out to the sales reps at PETSMART, PET VALUE and PETCO - who either didn't know the answers, made us feel like idiots, or offered general or useless information. We were hysterical and changed the water every day for a month. We went to a reputable fish shop that we dealt with many years ago when we kept large and tropical aquariums. They advised starving the fish for days, putting ammonia pads in the filters and changing the water, changing the water, and changing the water again. I ended up buying PRIME and calling SEACHEM for instructions. It was September 7th. Since then, the SEACHEM customer service reps (Mercedes, Bobbi, and Lucy) have figuratively held my hand throughout the cycling process. I wasn't able to do the process with the TETRA products I had on hand but after using their STABILITY product our tank started to cycle. They were approachable, kind, helpful and never made me feel like I was being pushy. Our fish survived and since October 4, 2018 our aquarium is working again. I cannot praise SEACHEM products and their TECH SUPPORT is absolutely second to none in my experience.
