It's hard to imagine that this little thing can put out 100 amps. It's about the size of a large cigar box and just a tiny bit the size of my 2, count them earlier than 2 large 50 amp chargers. It tests your battery's power rail and boosts it to the voltage required for 3rd stage 'volumetric float charging'. Connected to the bus from this charger a little warmed up. Enormous current. I bought this to charge my battery quickly, either from my Kohler industrial backup power station or from my Honda 2000 portable generator. There was recently a power outage at a substation caused by a lightning strike and I used my battery for a few hours and then this charger hooked up to Honda in 2000, and Honda was definitely under a lot of pressure from this device. Shortly after full load, the fans come on and the amps keep spinning. It seems like a very good device and as an electrical engineer I don't understand how it can put out so much power in such a small form factor.
