I thought I said I like it. No, I didn't get it for free. I've put it in a garage where I'd like to know if there's a fire, but a smoke detector isn't practical because every good man's den is filled with smoke, fumes and dust from the men's activities with engines, tools and other stuff is. Take our word for it. You shouldn't go there. In any case, we don't want the garage in the man cave to catch fire (well, it happens sometimes, but quite randomly, and we basically put it out in time and try not to do it again). So it works well and I tested it with a heat gun (another great tool for male mess). It fits snugly in the junction box and plugs in easily, and we haven't had any false alarms so far. Of course there is too much junk for cars there, but as soon as I can drive a car there I am sure that it will do its job.
