Although this headlight will fit and the included wiring harness will work, do not use it. I installed this lamp and initially there were no problems. Then I started having problems with the running lights. They drove off and the red safety light came on. After the bike has been standing for a while, everything is fine. It caught fire this week, but the running lights didn't go out. I took my bike to a Harley dealer to have it checked. The bike had 4 headlight trouble codes. And all because of overheated headlights. They removed the lamp and all but one problem was solved. The heat from the bulb has caused the wiring harness that supplies power to my taillights to melt and have to be replaced at my expense as I installed a non-original bulb which is not Harley recommended. Do not use this on a 2004 to present Harley, it may work but it may cause problems.
