If you're expecting an old kitchen appliance that will last you the next 30 years, this isn't it. If you're like me and want an easy way to make spaetzle once or twice a month, this is for you. Yes, it's thinner, but the "dough" for spaetzle is more like dough and tends to drip through the holes. Minimal effort is required to move the funnel back and forth. It glides very easily and makes absolutely perfect spaetzle. Came in a ziplock bag with no prescription or referral but I found everything I needed online. Cleaning is easy if you rinse them well before the dough sets. At $11, it's worth every penny. The included silicone pot holders are cute too and work well.
