I type for about eight hours most days. Although the arm movement is considered the correct way to type, I can't do it when I'm at my desk because my shoulders remain tight. This palm rest is at the right angle and strong enough for me to rest my forearms on and relax. It's much more comfortable than the rattle-style palm rest I've used, and feels more durable (and less wasteful) than the memory foam one. I like smooth, matte, dark wood. The logo is small and unobtrusive. If you place the palm rest on a slippery surface, you'll find that the rubber feet are enough to keep it in place. The only potential problem is that my hands can get stuck to it if I use lotion or it's too wet, but this is an easy fix. with long sleeves or fabric. This will likely happen with any wooden palm rest, so I don't think it's enough to deduct a star, but it's worth mentioning if anyone is researching the ins and outs of wooden palm rests. I am happy with my purchase and the price is reasonable.
