I don't think these are the best flour sack towels. I just don't like the texture or ease of absorbance if that makes sense. While not being washed with fabric softeners, which can coat the fabric with substances that prevent moisture absorption, these still restist moisture after 3 washings.Update after months of use and washing:These towels have been durable, but are still not softened by the washer, while ALLLLLLLL my other flour sack towels are soft as can be. I don't even fully believe these are cotton! Idk. I'm not a happy customer. I wish I could return them.
