Injector Needle

I bought this injector needle to replace an injector needle from another manufacturer. My wife and I own two fairly new cars, a 2008 Mazda Tribute and a 2015 VW Golf, neither of which have factory lubrication. I also have a Harley motorcycle and use this needle to lubricate the wheel bearings. The picture you see is exactly what you get. One of the reasons I don't give this needle 5 stars is that even though I have a Lock-N-Lube fitting on my grease gun, grease often leaks out of the Zerk fitting and splatters onto the injector body. Luckily, the body of the injector has a knurled ring that provides a good grip even when covered in grease. The needle itself is about the length of a car key, specifically the part of the key that goes into the ignition. The second reason I don't give 5 stars is that the yellow sleeve that covers the needle and prevents accidental skin breakage doesn't fit snugly in the body of the injector. That means if I'm not careful the lid will just slide off exposing the needle. You can use this on upper and lower ball joints, CV axles, tie rods (top or rear), suspension bushings and anti-roll bars. on my machines. I've noticed that I don't get any leaks if I insert the needle at a fairly acute angle or into the valley of the boot (e.g. tie rod boot or axle boot). My Mazda has clocked 120,000 miles and in that time I've only had to replace the tie rod ends. I don't have any weird noises or issues with other suspension components and I believe this is mostly due to that injector needle. I will recommend this to a friend.
