Not at all. The lid comes off after about half a turn. The threads are not deep enough to secure it. The first time I filled it and held it by the handle, the cap came off and the bottle fell to the floor, crumpled my newly renovated hardwood floor. Just thank you for not landing on my foot. At first I thought I just closed the lid wrong. Until my husband got into the kitchen and tried to put it on tighter and noticed that it only takes a half turn for the lid to come off completely. Unless it's just an accident with the bottle I ordered, then I wouldn't recommend it at all. I love other RTIC products but not this one.
