I am shocked that a tool designed to shape malleable metal would start shedding chrome chips the first time it was used. It leaves annoying little tool marks on my expensive silver. I'm pissed about that, especially as Beadalon tends to make higher quality stuff. I was wondering if it made sense to buy a special hammer for minting when I have a fine hardened steel hammer that hasn't cracked from hammering with it. Turns out I should have saved my money. I'm giving it two stars because the head hasn't come off the handle yet. I guess I'll just keep this by my bedside to deal with the muggers because it's useless for blacksmithing.
