Review on 🎢 ROKR Mechanical Coaster for Building Construction by Marc Salem

It looked so cool! This was a great project for my 13 year old daughter. We had a good time working as a team and reading instructions. Until it was done. The shaft holding the 3 gears is too wobbly and unstable to work properly. The lift doesn't go high enough to get the ball to the ramp and low enough to grab another ball. And the mechanism that takes the ball to the higher ramp only works 1 out of 5 times. And the holes that the ball went through were too small to work, so we had to file the part for quite a long time. (I'm guessing there was a bug in the wood?) We watched videos on the internet and followed our tracks but to no avail. We googled ideas to solve the problem and didn't find anything helpful. We had all the parts and the learning experience was good. But now I have a frustrated teenager and a project that is definitely not worth $40. Disappointing and unfortunately not recommended.
