Yes everything is plastic but for $1 with loose change, no shocker. It works as hoped and attaches to a male or female faucet (simply remove one of the male faucet's rubber grommets). The head rotates to allow you to spray more off the sink. Note: you have to pull your head down to get the spray. draw well. For those interested to check: a small U-arm slows down the water flow; it doesn't turn off. You must turn off the faucet handle(s) to stop the water flow. I don't know how long it will last since it's cheap and it's from China, but for sporadic use it seems like a winner.
