This is a fairly simple device. You plug one end into a USB port and can power a 12 volt device that you would plug into a cigarette lighter socket. At this point you must have strength. When I received mine the packaging was plain. Just a plastic device with a label. It arrived in good condition and the first thing I wanted to do was see how well it would work. I connected the USB to a 10000mAh power bank and then connected it to a 12V air compressor which powered the device and I was able to turn on the compressor light with no issues. I also turned on the compressor for a few seconds to have a look. He set it in motion, but in doing so he emptied the bank fairly quickly. This came as no surprise and I would advise you to be careful with the power supply used, but the actual adapter made the connection very well. Of the photos I've posted, two show them unpacked and the third shows the red light that comes on when connected to the power bank. There's nothing unusual about that. It's just an adapter, but it works.
