I've become accustomed to low rise waistbands and these are not that. After wearing them for a bit, I'm getting used to a little more height (I did not expect them to be low rise, for what it's worth, so no points off).I'm 6'2" and a fluctuating 220 to 230 lbs.- approx. 37" waist. The large seem like they are almost on the "too big" side, but that again could be the "taller" waist I'm still getting used to. These trunks also are very lightweight which could be adding to the feeling of being bigger while wearing them. After washing and drying them, they have held up well. The material is quite soft and thinner than the white Equipo trunks I purchased previously which feel almost like diaper material. different material and too thick. I would recommend these for anyone searching for a comfortable trunk and relatively short inseam that doesn't ride up. I'd share pics but really, no one wants to see that :)Update: Just received a second order, but size Medium. As mentioned above, the difference to me seems to be primarily in how tall these are. I would recommend size M if you are close to my height and weight.
