The best I can say is that the charger works. Unfortunately, the auto-clamp "feature" is really just a gimmick that just causes problems by trying to "fix" a problem that doesn't exist. Here are my biggest complaints: 1. Just a few weeks later, the automatic clamps started to fail. In most cases, the clips do not close tightly around the phone when in use. They almost don't seem to close once contact is found, resulting in the phone not being held really securely. I often have to repeat this process several times before it finally closes properly. The clips don't save some juice to reopen when the machine is off. So if your car also turns off the sockets when the car itself is off, it means your phone is stuck in the holder. To remove it, you must restart the car, press the button on the side of the stand to open the engines, and then turn the car off again.3. Speaking of the little button, it's on the right side of the phone. That's a problem because I keep pressing it when interacting with my phone, which means the clip often just pops open when I'm trying to select a podcast, change tracks, etc. I wasn't expecting this. can happen, but it happens because you instinctively wrap some of your fingers around the stand to steady it when you're interacting with it and the button is in the wrong place.4. One of the main reasons you have to wrap your fingers around the stand to stabilize it is that it's very unstable! The phone keeps bouncing up and down when the car is in motion. It's not overly wacky, but it's enough to be flashy and annoying. Overall I would not buy this product again. By adding a useless auto-tensioning function instead of a perfectly working manual tensioning system, they overcomplicated the product and created additional problems that otherwise wouldn't exist.
