Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Hi all! Now the time has come for me to look for and choose my first webcam, I seriously immersed myself in the topic, studied many videos and forums, even tried a good phone instead of a webcam, but all this turned out to be wrong and my choice fell on Logitech StreamCam. After watching a bunch of videos comparing competitors and their brothers in the brand, StreamCam turned out to be ahead in terms of picture quality, which is the most surprising, even better than the much more expensive Logitech BRIO, so I stopped on this particular camera. Like all cameras, it is demanding on light and to get the best quality you need competent lighting, but it also shoots well without it. In fact, here the best quality for your money + the camera produces 60fps at 1080p if this is not critical for you, then yes, you can consider other analogues, incl. and from Logitec, there are very good models and cheaper, but I decided to pay extra and take a camera a little more expensive, let’s say with a margin, and its design is honestly nicer than many competitors, I would even say the best! (in my personal opinion). But not everything is so good, there is only one problem - a short 1.5 m cable and a USB 3.1 (Type C) port. If you have a modern computer with a USB 3.1 (Type C) port on board and it will stand next to the webcam, then consider that you do not have this problem, for those who will put the camera on tripods and a little further away from the PC, it is possible will face the problem of not having enough length of the native cable and it will become a question of buying an extension cord! I’ll tell you right away about extension cords, if you already decide to take them, take expensive ones, maybe everything will be ok, I took it a little cheaper, although 10 Gbps was declared in the specifications, but when connected through it, it gave out only 1080p / 30fps, and the manufacturer does not guarantee 60 fps through extension cables so I had to use the system USB Type c to USB 3.0 adapter and USB 3.0 extension cable so I was able to get 1080p/60fps, use it! I took it for streams, it copes with its purpose with proper lighting more than perfectly!

Pros
  • ― Great video quality out of the box ― 1080p/60fps - Design ― Not very distracting indicator of camera operation ― Quality of materials and assembly ― Convenient fastening - Adapter 1/4 for tripods included
Cons
  • - Short cord for connecting, I would like it to be longer ― Via USB 3.1 extension cable. no 1080p/60fps ― USB Type C (3.1) May be a problem for some and generally not yet a very common port
