I love multiple monitors. My main workstation has 6 monitors (3 wide, 2 high). The idea of having two additional monitors with a laptop on the go really appeals to me. but this product is just badly designed. I'll start with how it attaches. This works best when connected to a laptop screen that is approximately 10.125 inches wide and 8.25 inches high (removed from the top of the laptop surface). However, the thickness of the laptop screen should be around 7.1mm or thinner. The top of the device has flared little grips for each screen thickness, but the bottom, which grips the sides of the screen, doesn't. So you need a screen thin enough for that, otherwise it's not strong. - - - It COULD be as wide as a 14.75 inch screen (the size of the width, not the diagonal) but the taller the screen gets the worse it gets because of the little stand that helps hold the lid keeping it open, not very big is strong and you risk damaging the laptop hinge with prolonged use if poorly supported. The screens themselves are cheap. These are rather ordinary Chinese USB powered panels, acceptable for office work and multimedia. I had no dead pixels and the refresh rate is good for general use with no blur or weirdness. It's not a problem for the way they're commonly used, but this item costs $460. and you get 2 tiny screens with the largest bezels imaginable. It's also too delicate - the way it folds leaves one screen facing outwards, making it vulnerable to scratches or damage - it's not a glass screen so it's really poorly protected. Again, for the price, I would expect a case or folding mechanism that folds like a clam to protect both monitors. I couldn't get any monitor to work through the USB-C video input. They work great with USB power and HDMI cables. These include two USB-C to USB-C (straight on one end, approx. 46" long), USB-A to USB-C (straight, approx. 47" long) and HDMI to mini-HDMI (straight, approx. 47 inches). 47 cm long). When I connect it to my 15.6" slim laptop, which is about 14" wide, it just doesn't work. The screen is too thick to fit properly, the cables are cumbersome and the stand barely reaches the floor. and it's hard. Honestly, it's a waste of space and effort. Separate road screens with their own mounts are both better and cheaper. Pay special attention to the size of this setup. If you have a laptop that is the perfect size for such a small size, then it could be just the thing for you. But given the way the chassis is constructed, it's too bulky, flimsy and expensive to recommend.
