The startup guide says which cables to use to connect, but I keep getting an error message for a monitor. This doesn't work if I don't use an HDMI cable. The video/data cable will not work on one side if an HDMI cable is used on the other side. Annoying as my laptop has all the relevant ports but can only use one monitor. The triple screen is a game changer! My laptop is now a mobile command center! HOWEVER, the screen expands to slide over the laptop screen but has no elastic band or anything to pinch it on the computer. A small movement and the screen falls off your computer. A rubber band or something elastic will probably help, but they are not factory installed. A design flaw that may be fixed in future models.

Although all the cables are there and the laptop has all the ports, you need 2 identical ports or only one side will work. Single screen expanders are cheaper than dual screen expanders. So if I pay for two screens to work I don't have to buy a 70.00 adapter to make it work. The screen quality and ease of use when it works is amazing.

My company uses GoToMyPC for remote login and the remote desktop does not extend to other monitors. It doesn't work the way I want it to and I will be sending it back.
