Review on SleepmacTM Pink Noise Machine White by Elizabeth Carey

For its price this thing is pretty good. The sound quality is not bad, the sound selection and backlight are pleasant, the size is good and does not require frequent charging. The pink and brown noise options are great. On the other hand, the operation is quite confusing and self-explanatory, but if you take a quick look at the instructions, it's not that bad. The big problem is that the volume control is so badly designed that it barely works anymore. It doesn't raise or lower the volume smoothly, and sometimes you just have to keep twisting or trying to squeeze or wiggle it for it to work. I thought it was just because I received a defective unit, but when I sent it back the replacement unit had the exact same problem! If you can overcome it, it's not bad at all. I'm just afraid that after a while it will fail completely and I'm seriously considering returning the second unit because of this.
