Read the specifications carefully. Yes, there is no 4k, microphone input and shoe. Yes, this is not a full frame, but a 1.6 crop. Yes, a dark whale lens. The transition to semi-automatic and manual modes is not obvious. But for the money it's a great car. Got pros: Looks like a decent soap box, but 1. Interchangeable optics. The entire fleet from older DSLRs works like a native one (through the original adapter) 2. M42. Yes, this thing can shoot video even with old Soviet G-44s and Yu-9s! 3. Tracking autofocus. Very handy when shooting video 4. Great app for iPhone Different cons: There are some problems with WiFi, sometimes it loses the network and there is no 5GHz support. Software for a computer (EOS Utility) - rubbish. You can’t display a picture from the viewfinder either on a PC or on a MAC, just as you can’t connect a webcam. Softina as a replacement for a card reader in modern realities looks rather strange, but in fact it can’t do anything else. Tracking autofocus loves the light, at dusk it is often mistaken. I hope that at least some of the described will be solved by firmware and software ates. The whale lens is not capable of manual focus. At night it is critical.
