I had my local window store replace the glass in a basement window with a double replacement material and they cut this for the vent and secured it for me. I like the ease of connecting my dryer venting for secure attachment and it is not plastic or lightweight material but heavy duty. In use the vents do sing a bit but I do not mind and for me an excellent purchase at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend
- Easy to clean and maintain, with minimal upkeep required
- May be made in a factory with poor labor practices
