I installed these H-3 LEDs in my fog lights in place of standard halogen. With these LEDs, the radiation characteristics are now very diffuse and high. Quite unlike the standard halogen pattern, which was deep and laterally concentrated, as is common with fog lights. These LED bulbs actually put out light that is higher than my low beam. Stock halogens have never been so high. I wanted these LED bulbs because I use my fog lights as daytime running lights so the LEDs should put less stress on the electrical system (I have an old sports car) and the whiter light should make my car more visible. These LED bulbs are not as bright as standard halogen bulbs, perhaps because standard halogen bulbs focus the light while these LED bulbs spread the light everywhere. I can try another brand of H3 LED bulbs.
