Having just received a new pair direct from Aasics I can confirm that the pair I received through Revain were fake. The pieces were very similar, but a few sloppy threads of glue, color variations and inconsistent lace lacing, the cheap feel of the tags, the rough quality of the packaging they came in, and the inclusion of an amateur "receipt" from the seller made me suspicious . I also checked out the company that shipped them and found that they import from Bombay, while these shoes were said to be made in China and/or Indonesia depending on whether you look at the tag on the box or the tongue of the shoe believe (another red flag). ). I considered keeping them as they otherwise looked the same, but for $15 I got a new pair direct from Aasics and the difference in quality is amazing. Absolutely, but straight from Aasics - it's worth it!
