I recently posted a review saying these batteries will not work with my DW9116 charger. I found that after I put it in my drill and let it run for about 30 seconds and then RELIABLY plugged it into the charger, it started charging. I tried a second battery in the charger without inserting it into the drill and the charger did nothing. Then I put this battery in the drill, let it run for about 30 seconds and RELIABLY put it in the charger and voila - it started charging - and now I have the red full charge indicator the entire time. I'm a bit confused but glad the batteries are working fine now. Warning. Very close to the charger.
