Review on Acurel Budget-friendly Activated Carbon Filter Pellets for Optimized Filtration by Matt Pratt

Am I the only one who has problems with this charcoal? It says "prewashed" but of course I spent a few minutes rinsing. And rinse. And rinse. Never before have I had to wash coal so much to finally clean it. In the end I decided it was good enough and put it in my test filter. I'm glad there weren't any fish in the tank because after a few days the bottom of my tank is covered with a thin layer of coal dust. I'm still flushing the same batch out of the filter and it's STILL not clear. I'll refrain from doing this because I can't spend all day flushing charcoal, let alone the amount of water I use just to flush this stuff.
