I took the rod out of the box and stuck it down the bathroom drain to get rid of the hair stuck in it. It fits down the drain with no problem, when I pulled it out only 1/3 of the stick came out. This broke the I side of the drain. Now I have hair and a 12 inch piece of plastic stuck in the drain. I would not recommend this product at all. I've used "Zip It" sticks before with no problems. These cheap things are a waste of money. The claw has a spring around the teeth with no collar to prevent the teeth from bending.
