Review on Kohler 1131481 Hot Ultraglide Valve Assembly: Efficient and Durable Metallic Concealed Valve Solution by Sean Santhanam

The faucet hose was so thin compared to the original that it was kinked after installation, forcing me to disassemble the valve to fix the problem. A complete waste of time; If the hose had been stronger this would not have happened. It also came with a screw under the sink but instead of the standard hex nut which was difficult to get hold of with my sink wrench. According to some other reviews, this valve makes a hissing noise when turned on. Ever since I pulled the cartridge out I see this valve replacing the ceramic cartridge with the brass body with a caseless cartridge with folded plastic parts to match the outer body. The quality was bad guys. What choice do we have?
