It's amazing that a square piece can create such a beautiful oval feathered light - better than a snood if an even shape of light is important to you and you like feathers. However, the honeycomb is quite fragile and there was no solution to carry it in a camera bag (I use a padded envelope). The mechanism that attaches it to the flash is also clever (belt and velcro). I'd rather see some sort of solid flash adapter with snap-on/click-on attachments. I've never had another mesh to compare to, but it's good for a quick light shaper, if not as flexible as the combo. made of foil, paper, tinfoil, cardboard and adhesive tape. PS - 3 stars is good, 4 stars is excellent, I almost never give 5 stars as it means there is no room for improvement, which is rare.
