These are better than I expected - they fit well, I'm a size 7.5 and they were just right - a little tight but they're just what I needed. I tried them while running along the fast flowing Pecos River with slippery, uneven rocks. Then I went through a maze of caves with waterfalls running through them, water bubbling and scrambling over wet, slippery boulders and rocks. The soles have fantastic traction and as I'm not very stable I felt very confident in them. Also, they are very cute and I have no problem wearing them when I'm not at home.
