Bought for a kennel. Everything would be fine, but there are some problems. It hangs at the top of the cage and slots are at the bottom. This allows food to fall out of the floor easily. Because it's designed for small to medium-sized birds, it's not ideal. You can probably put some dried fruit in it and you'll be fine. The chain he's hanging on is too long. You need a very tall cage to use this toy effectively. The last problem is that it is very difficult to clean. Cannot be completely disassembled. The latch that prevents the bird from getting the food easily is a screw located at the top of the toy. The screw cannot be removed at all. It can only be detached to put food inside. You shouldn't put dirty food inside because you can't scrub the inside to clean it. It's also a bit difficult to put food inside because of the screw. The two halves of the ball just don't separate. I would not recommend buying. It's just not very well designed.
