Review on Black Rear View Reversing Camera for Volkswagen - BW by John May

I installed this on a 2010 VW Jetta and it is NOT a drop in part. I had to modify the (plastic) bracket in the trunk lid because that part is too deep. The hole in the trunk is the right size so you don't have to cut any metal. Don't buy this if you don't know how to use a dremel and can't solder the connections you need to cut. The power supply is a bit strange. I tried using the reverse light for power and that didn't work (maybe my machine uses PWM for the light). I turned the stereo back on (on with the ignition on). It took me 3 hours to install all the mods. In general the picture is good and the product works. This camera superimposes lines on the video to help with parallel parking.
