Most of these vegetable/fruit storage containers work on the same principle. In most cases, it all depends on how much we like them: they look chic, take up too much space, are easy to open. Are they breathable, especially if you hold bananas next to them? Bananas release gases that cause other foods to ripen too quickly. So all you really need is something that isn't breathable and isn't HUGE (and holds a lot of air inside). For example, if you only use one pouch, be sure to squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing it. In this case, it's easy to open and only has a couple of tabs that keep it closed (in my photos) when you twist it. And it also has a good seal and doesn't let air in. And because it's flat on both ends, it can stand up no matter which way you lay it. As long as it works as well as any pouch. And I prefer it over bags because my wife keeps forgetting to squeeze the air out of the bags.
