Ordered a set of 4 to see if we wanted clear pots on the sides of our goldfish tank. I have ordered 3 more sets. They can be combined very well with plants and allow for a variety of aquascaping ideas. For a tall tank, they can be arranged in rows to provide plant height without having to wait for the plant to reach that height. For plants that don't need to be rooted in the ground, like the water ferns in the photo, you can apply glue to the stone to ensure it doesn't float, and then gravel it for the visual effect you want. There is a drainage hole at the bottom and I'm not sure how well the flat growing medium will stay in place. We are happy with these little pots and I am planning to experiment with one of these in our saltwater reef aquarium, putting gravel on the bottom and placing the corals on the corks in the plant pot.
