Review on Obermeyer Lucas Fleece Hoodie Limelight by David Flores

Honestly, I'm very disappointed with this. He is so cool and stylish! Design Approved by Baby and Mom! Too bad the material sucks. First of all the finish, design and color are fantastic - well made and exactly as pictured (the lighting is odd in my photos). However, the material disappointed me. The photos show the lining and exterior. This sweatshirt is unlined in regular thickness fleece, but I wasn't expecting that. Product photos are misleading. The inside is just a well-brushed fleece, so it's nice and soft, not as plush or thick as the product photos might suggest. So this hoodie is more of a lightweight than a pretty bulky fall hoodie. The appearance of the fabric also shown is not finely colored as it might appear at first glance; In fact, these are loose/worn fibers. I'd be surprised if it doesn't grow together right away. Also, the cuffs are very stiff - they used some kind of nylon stretch material and they're really rough. I don't want it scratching my wrists all day. All in all, if it was a sweatshirt under $18 I wouldn't be so disappointed. But at the list price of $99, even though I bought it on sale, it's a damn joke. Also remember that the size listed is for teens/big boys, not juniors/little boys. I ordered size XL as boys XL should be between 10-12, but according to the sizing chart on the label, teen XL is big enough for an 18 year old. which I'm 18 to believe depending on her age, but even her measurements on the label are wrong. It says chest 34 inches for an 18 year old wearing a size XL. I have a 44", 38DDD chest, I wear XL womens clothing and this item fits me! .albeit a perfect fit, but easy to put on and fasten. Needless to say, this was NOT suitable for my child. So. this supplier needs to be accurate in sizing, it would be nice if they post an accurate sizing chart to refer to, but even their tags are mixed up so there's probably no hope of that.
