Review on 5 TB External HDD Seagate Expansion (STKM), USB 3.0, black by Adam Kardasz ᠌

I bought it for backups, started copying data with a total size of 800 GB. The disk constantly disappears from the system, after a different arbitrary time. I did not notice any pattern, different PCs, different usb ports 2.0 and 3.0, different cables, several formattings with different applications. Power saving on the PC is disabled, on the drive itself, through the Seagate application, it is indicated never to sleep. The disk itself physically works, it does not turn off, it simply ceases to be visible in the system. The data doesn’t seem to be fighting, it’s recorded from 10 times and probably can even be stored, but it’s impossible to use it permanently, of course, and there is no trust in such a drive
