I got this for my doodle breed. He always matted so bad around his collar. I had a flat leather collar but my groomer told me rolled and I purchased this one. That was 2 years ago! He hardly mats around the neck anymore and when he does, it’s not terrible. I saw other reviews saying the ring to keep the extra collar length down was not good. I’ve had no problems with mine and it’s still attached and working 2 years later. At this point, the collar is in great shape but when he needs a new one I will definitely recorder one of these. Highly recommend!
