I love the Fibaro Motion Sensor. I installed it to activate some of the light strips I installed on the steps in my bedroom. As a safety measure, the steps are to be illuminated at night to prevent tripping over the steps. It paired easily with my Smartthings controller. Almost all settings were supported through the app on my phone. The only thing I had to adjust in the API was the interval at which movement was checked. I need near-instant motion detection so the steps light up as I approach, rather than 10-15 seconds later. As a result, I changed the motion sensor wake interval from the default (15 seconds) to 2 seconds. To save battery I changed the setting so that the motion sensor only wakes up when the room is dark. Works perfectly!
