Review on 6 Green Shades Pearl Cotton Thread Set - Threadart 75Yd Spools Size 8 Perle Cotton For Hand Embroidery, Crochet, Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, And Friendship Bracelets by Bryan Gibbons

I've been doing big stitch hand quilting with size 8 perle coton/pearl cotton--which is difficult to find. I've always used DMC threads over my 40 years of stitching, but local stores only stock a limited, boring palette of colors, and prices online are ridiculous. And the prestige brands that want $6/spool? Forget it. Enter Thread Art pearl cotton! The colors are beautiful, in nicely coordinated assortments. It does tend to untwist a bit more than DMC, but for the ability to find the colors you need, in a reasonable price, and have them on your doorstep in the time it would take to drive all over town looking--these are a definite winner. I've already bought a second, larger assortment. Shipping was also faster than predicted--bonus! (Thread numbers are on the plastic wrappers, which slip nicely inside the spool for identifying later.) The colors in the Autumn collection are really beautiful and true to their appearance on the monitor--perfect for a quilt done in William Morris prints. Highly recommended!
