Overall this is a great value for a small easel or iPad holder. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is a small design flaw. The screws that attach the hinges are not flush with the edge. So when you lay out the piece of bamboo that will support the bottom of your canvas, the screw heads on either side of the hinge will touch, and instead of folding straight, it will sit at an angle. A little careful bending and it was solid, but it would be better if the hinges were glued to this part or even nailed with small nails.
