These hoses appear to be of very good quality. I don't use mine in an aquarium, I use them as part of a gravity drip irrigation system. I paired them with blue plastic double ended air controls to make my drip irrigation system. They work well and I've been using them for over a month now and haven't had any issues with mold in my plumbing lines. Again, I use them outside of what they were originally designed for, but they work well with the application. and what did I wear them
