Review on Warner Carbide Triangle Scraper 828 by Mark Kolipano

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Better than some other scrapers.

Used for: Thermal cleaning of a Victorian home. Siding type: 2.5" cedar plank. The planks were mostly convex or flat rather than concave. Allows the blade to wobble on the bolt and work loose as I work. The blade is slightly convex, I suppose to fit one twisted cedar shake or a larger circle. The convex shape of the blade in my situation meant the blade didn't work.I couldn't touch my surface well and the head angle seemed wrong to me since using the tool. The heat sweep in a tight circle requires short, one-handed strokes across a narrow surface. This tool felt best for long, two-handed strokes. I've used my 1" wide Bahco scraper more than anything else. Stunning design feature: a screwdriver at the end of the handle. This should be installed on all scrapers that require a screw to change or rotate the blades! Outstanding design feature.
