I installed TrekStep on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock. I was a little hesitant to install it myself due to mechanical issues, but it turned out to be a relatively easy task and took less than half an hour. A lot of the reviews I read complained that the instructions were far from ideal, but I think they were pretty well written and easy to follow. I also watched a few instructional videos on YouTube but couldn't find any showing installation on a 4th gen ram. Before placing an order I went to the Bestop website and downloaded a copy of their instructions. To be honest, the downloaded version was practically useless. They consisted of drawings with no written instructions and made no sense to me. When the TrekStep arrived and I opened the package, I was relieved to find that the instructions included not only pictures but also written directions for my vehicle. I can't stress enough how easy the installation was. The end result is reliable equipment that allows a fat old man like me to get up and into the back of a truck with the tailgate open or closed. . This is a good truck mod and well worth the money. I only wish I had bought Trekstep sooner.
