This case designed for the Fluke 87V fits my Fluke 77 Series II multimeter. and that was the main purchase criterion My multimeter fitted perfectly. about a finger width up/down and 1/4 inch (side to side). tight but not too tight. I would have preferred the accessory lock pocket to be oriented differently, but it works for me. I can't confirm the durability of the zip - I'm not a professional user who requires me to take it multiple times a day - honestly, time will tell but I would describe the case as semi-rigid (a bit pliable, Cloth over a flexible plastic shell Sturdy but not the "casing" in feel of a hard plastic case like the Pelican.
