I would give this another five stars if that was an option. These are the best clippers hands down. I read other reviews before I bought these clippers and almost didn't buy them because of the bad reviews. I'm so happy I did buy them.I have eight dogs all with different coats. From thin to triple coats. It's took a minute to find the right angle and the best way to cut.I started at the neck and worked my way back to the behind. It's works best to go the same direction as the coat. I tried using the attachments but I haven't mastered that yet. So I ended up with a pretty close shave with All of the dogs but not down to the skin. The clippers also have an adjustable length that you change with a dial.After four dogs I still had 70 percent left on the battery. Remember to check and make sure that the blade isn't getting to hot, with any set of clippers it can burn your dog.
