Don't waste your time and effort
First off, it's 36", not 30". Mine doesn't work forward only when you pull it towards you does the wick cause it to fall into a class of totally useless I'm not sure what happened here but only two mounting bolts have nylon nuts either they've run out or they're showing only comment on the quality of the product, save yourself the hassle and buy a Haviland 036 with a plastic blade, the frame is much heavier and the slide-on blade removes water and debris quickly.
