Review on Lippert 296649 Electric Brake Assembly by Jason Hutchinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a Lippert product

**Updated** Fitted to my motorhome but had some issues. Called Brechbill direct and contacted Revain's parts manager. He was very helpful and gave troubleshooting advice over the phone - it turned out he was right about the problem too. I'm increasing my review and rating because good customer service should be recognized and appreciated. I would order from them again. I would still recommend changing the listing's description to remove the Lippert name - the brand is important to some people. Even lock washers and nuts for assembly would not interfere. I had a heck of a lot of time to find the right size and ride around town for them. (Penalty 7/16 in case anyone is wondering). Listed as a Lippert build but got AxleTech. The product appears almost identical so I'll proceed with the installation but the listing should reflect that. Also, maybe less torque was included, but no installation accessories like nuts, washers, or electrical shrink connectors. The right side Lippert setup I received had both.

Pros
  • Self-adjusting brakes provide optimal braking performance as they automatically adjust at each forward stop
