So my car's previous owner screwed the radiator cap on too tight and I couldn't remove it to add coolant. I suspect he used something like this product to seal the lid tightly because no matter what I did prior to buying it, the lid just wouldn't budge. After receiving this and replacing the radiator cap in case the key broke off. old cap, I tried it right away and the old cap came off so easily. Even the old cap didn't break, so I now have it in stock as a spare. All in all, it's a very handy, well-made tool that does the job and was fairly inexpensive. Keep in mind that this is for opening lids rather than screwing them past the point of no return. Please.
