I can actually type on the Duet

Received my Duet yesterday although I bought it for a family member and I have had experience helping her set it up. I was impressed with the quality of the tablet. It's durable and attractive. The back cover/stand is fine, although I'm having trouble figuring out where to put my fingers to push the stand out. The keyboard is a miracle for me. I learned to touch type in 1956 and was amazed that I could type on a tiny keyboard. Most of the scaled-down keys are ones I rarely use, like [ and ], but after just a few hours of use, my fingers reliably hit the apostrophe and backspace keys. I'd love to pass the speed test on this keyboard, but it's really, really good for email and documents. I had a problem with Bluetooth and contacted Lenovo support. It was a difficult and unproductive experience. They advised me to buy a new Duet. I ordered a replacement from Revain and the next time I tried to use Bluetooth it worked. I don't know why but I'm happy. Later. Ok, I've been using Duet for a week now. A friend who was a little interested in Chrome OS wanted a show, so I took my Lenovo Duet and showed her how Chrome OS works. That was three days ago and yesterday she wrote that she had ordered one. Even she was amazed at how easy it was to type on the tiny keyboard. Random bugs on the right side, but not bad at all.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
